Concerts in Vancouver this August

Bob Dylan has helped define musical styles that have drawn crowds on tour dates spanning half a century from the swinging 60s when he pioneered folk music that became the voice of a generation through to a hard rocking, electric style into the seventies and taking it to the people (always Dylan’s first love) he has been playing a string of dates on his Never Ending Tour. The legend plays the Cranbrook RecPlex in Vancouver this August.

Leaving Somalia at an early age, K’Naan took his amazing voce to produce percussion-fuelled protest music at its finest. With backing music from a group of nomadic musicians reproduces live versions of all these great tracks at the Commodore Ballroom in August.

Since splitting with the tramps, continues to tour worldwide performing not only his classics and plays the River Rock Show Theatre in August.

Indiana’s Murder by Death with its haunting strings and rock n’ roll rhythms perform in Vancouver this August.

Scottish Franz Ferdinand following their successful platinum-selling album in the UK and gold-selling in the United States as well as a host of nominations for several Grammys and BRIT Awards as well as having won an NME Award, perform at the Commodore Ballroom in August.
