The Caliente Festival Tropical is the largest celebration of Latin-American culture in the German speaking world. It includes performances from a large selection of bands and musical styles around Helvetiaplatz and the Langstrasse areas of Zürich. Throughout July the Caliente, festival tropical celebrates South American rhythms with live music, dance shows and markets. It has become the largest festival of Latin American culture in the German-speaking countries of Europe.

The Zürich Festival is a medley of opera performances, concerts, plays, dance and fringe theatre at various locations in and around the city. Annual festival taking place July and combining art, opera, drama, concerts and dance. Events take place at several locations and also feature a number of open-air performances.
