What a way to discover the dramatic mountain landscape of Scotland’s green countryside as you cycle along the 220 mile route from Edinburgh to Dublin. The Edinburgh to Dublin Cycle Challenge is a three day event from capital to capital. On your first day pedal through quiet country lanes from Edinburgh to Troon (you have got to pronounce that in your best Scottish accent), where you’ll catch a ferry to Larne for an overnight rest. Savour the beauty of the east coast of Ireland and absorb the stunning landscapes as you ride south towards Banbrige and a stay in Newry before continuing along the coast further south to Dublin on Day Three.
